We also offer a warm welcome to
English speaking residents, permanent or temporary who are looking to make
contacts in the area. We can help with most things or at least
point you in the right direction.
Whether you need an English speaking doctor, a play group for the
children, help to find a translator, dentist, lawyer etc or just a friendly face to talk to
over a cup of tea, we are on hand to help. We also have an informal
Job Book where you can leave your details or perhaps pick up a job or
information of interest to you.
If you need to find your way around
Lille or life in France, if you want to get in touch with English
speaking groups and clubs or even want to start one of your own, why not
visit us? The volunteers at the Centre have lived in France for a
varying number of years and know that settling into a new way of life is
not always easy. So don't hesitate to call in the library and say hello.
We are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12.00 till 17.30. (Closed
during the school holidays.)
